I’m tired of the way we romanticize community service in our society. It should just be something you DO. It’s like feeding your children, or not abusing your elderly parents. It’s what you should already be doing, and you shouldn’t expect additional praise for it.
It’s not supererogatory.
I hate that I have to say how much community service I do to get...
